Oppo just posted a teaser that reveals the launch details of Reno 2 Smartphone. It’s confirmed to launch and it’s coming first to India on August 28. This will be the successor of Reno 10x device launched back in May with triple rear camera setup and 10x hybrid zoom. The company also mentioned that the Reno 2 will have a quad-camera setup at the rear with 20x zoom. Along with that, they mentioned “Series”, that give us hints of another Reno smartphone that might be Oppo Reno 2 Pro.
In addition, the teaser poster also reveals the design fo the device. The Reno 2 to equipped with a Shark fin rising front-facing camera like it predecessor. It is also expected with an in-display fingerprint scanner placed beneath an AMOLED display. Oppo Reno 2 features include Ultra Steady Video at OIS, Ultra Dark Mode for low light environments and Ultra Clear Mode.
Talking about the specs, the Oppo Reno 2 expected to sports 6.43-inch AMOLED display with 2400×1080 pixels. The device will be powered by Snapdragon 700 series. It will be equipped with a quad-camera arrangement that includes 48MP primary camera with 8MP wide-angle lens, 13MP telephoto lens and 2MP monochrome lens. The device packed with 4065mAh battery that supports VOOC fast charging.
We still have any pricing details, but it expected to be priced higher than its original Reno series. Let’s wait till August 28 and before that, we should hear more details about the Reno 2 series in coming days.
