Recently, Gigabyte announced three Aero flagship notebooks which are specially designed for content creators. The three models are 15.6-inches Aero 15 OLED, 15-inches Aero 15 and 17.3-inches Aero 17. It should be noted that with the Aero 17, Gigabyte is launching its first 17 inches notebook.
All the Aero flagship notebooks are powered by 8 core Intel i9 processors and Nvidia GeForce RTX 20 series graphics unit. The 15 inches notebook weighs just 2kg while the 17.3 inches aluminum unibody is 21 mm thick and weighs 2.5kg.
Aero 15 notebook comes with Xrite Pantone color correction certificated Samsung AMOLED displays. Alongside, the Aero 15 OLED offers 25% wider range of colors than traditional notebooks. The 4K Samsung display supports 100% DCI-P3 color gamut.
Aero 17 notebook comes with FHD resolution, 5ms response time, 144Hz refresh rate, X-Rite Pantone color correction and uses LG IPS panel. It is powered by an Intel i7-9750H processor, Nvidia RTX 2060 graphics, Intel 760P SSD with a capacity of 512GB, and 16GB DDR4 memory.
The Aero series notebooks 2019 by Gigabyte comes with a UHS-II SD card reader, three USB 3.1 ports, an HDMI 2.0 port, a DP 1.4 port for image outputs, and a Thunderbolt 3 port. The cooling part is taken care of by two fans which consist of 71 blades, 11 intake and exhaust vents, and 5 full copper heat pipes along with a pinch of Thermal Grizzly thermal paste.
In addition, the new laptop is packed with a 94Wh large capacity battery that can offer 8.5 hours standby time. To add more features, the company has added a unique removable webcam lens that allows users to close and open when needed. AERO notebooks have Windows Hello fingerprint identification technology to ensure privacy.
In a recent press release, Gigabyte stated that all the Aero flagship notebooks were software tested by the makers in common suites like Adobe creative suite, Thunderbolt 3 external storage device and WACOM digital drawing boards. The test showed that the Aero series has performed 18% better in terms of speed during the Photoshop test in Adobe suite than any other contemporary notebook.
As per Gigabyte, these tests were performed just to make sure that users can “create their work smoothly and stress-free, saving time on finding the right compatible hardware/software, further improving work efficiency, and of course, enhancing creativity.”
The new AERO notebooks 2019 estimated selling price may differ by different configurations starting from $2237 USD to $4000 USD and available for sale on Gigabyte website.
