Dell patents 2-in-1 foldable display PC with narrow bezels

A new patent suggests Dell upcoming display will be featuring a foldable design with narrow bezels and narrow width dual axes hinge for better portability. Dell has filed this patent titled “Information Handling System Narrow Width Hinge” on August 8, 2019 at the US Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO).

According to the patent, Dell is working on some foldable displays that will be equipped with some new gear, for smoother rotation. Also, the company claims, the display will have a narrow bezel and narrow width of the hinge elements offer a gap between displays.

For smoother actions, Dell is using a new gear assembly that helps to synchronize the motion of dual axles at one end of the dual axles.
