DJI Osmo Mobile 3 is an upcoming stabilizer designed for smartphones. However, lots of rumors and press renders already surfaced the web and last week it appeared in an FCC listing too. Today, a new leak suggests the real design of DJI Osmo Mobile 3 for official presentation purpose. Along with that real-world photos of Osmo Mobile 3 stabilizer also leaked.
According to the source, the new Osmo Mobile 3 mobile handheld gimbal comes in folding design with a size of 286mm × 126mm ×98mm, which is larger than the previous DJI gimbal. Alongside, the Osmo Mobile 3 weighs just 405g. The gimbal is equipped with USB-C interface and comes with Bluetooth Low Energy 5.0 connectivity.
It seems big-sized smartphones with the wider screen easily fits on the Osmo Mobile 3 stabilizer. Finaly a stabilizer designed for wide angle lens. Moreover, the DJI Osmo Mobile 3 may feature time-lapse, motion lapse, hyper-lapse, slow-mo, active tracking and more.
Comparing the leaked images and real-world photos, the Osmo Mobile 3 has better folding arms that offer better portability and compact design. Also it shows the USB Type C port and a USB C cable. DJI schedules “Transform Your World” event on August 13 and we expect DJI will launch the Osmo Mobile 3 on the same day.
Still, we don’t have any information on the pricing and availability. To remind, the DJI Osmo Mobile 2 was launched for $129.95 so we can expect the pricing under $200. Stay tuned for more updates!
