Finally, DJI has officially launched its new smartphone stabilizer, the Osmo Mobile 3. As we reported earlier today, the new gimbal looks exactly the same and it comes with lots of features and better improvement than its old Osmo Mobile 2. The new Osmo Mobile 3 comes in a compact design and its foldable. DJI Osmo Mobile 3 is priced at $119 and DJI is also selling a combo pack for $139 that includes 1x Osmo Grip Tripod and 1x Carrying case.
DJI claims Osmo Mobile 3 to be its first foldable 3-axis gimbal technology that weighs just 405 grams. One of the key feature of Osmo Mobile 3 stabilizer its is foldable. The foldable design offers more portability and compact. Alongside, the Mobile 3 gimbal comes with USB Type-C port for charging, where the Mobile 2 got micro-USB. For connectivity, it supports Bluetooth 5.0 and can be connected to devices through the DJI Mimo app.
In addition, the Osmo Mobile 3 smartphone stabilizer comes four new features like Gesture Control, ActiveTrack 3.0, Quick Roll and Sport Mode. The new Gesture Controls allow the users to control the gimbal without pressing any buttons, they have to set a gesture in order to execute the operation. Likewise, the ActiveTrack 3.0 comes with computer vision algorithms that automatically track the user that comes handy while shooting videos. Also, the DJI Mimo apps come with creative modes that include Story Mode, Timelapse & Motionlapse, HyperLapse, Dolly Zoom, Panorama, Slow Motion and more.
Using the new mobile stabilizer smartphones can be mounted and unfolded within a few seconds. Also, Osmo Mobile 3 is offering 15 hours of battery life (depends on shooting modes too).
Talking about the price, the Osmo Mobile 3 standard version is priced at $119. The standard package includes the Osmo Mobile 3, a wrist strap, storage pouch, and anti-slip pads. As mentioned earlier, the Combo package will cost around $139 that comes with Osmo Grip Tripod and Osmo Carrying Case.
