Samsung is planning to release premium laptops which might be the successor of Galaxy Book 2. Today, a leaked press render suggest Samsung’s upcoming Galaxy Book S. The leak also shows it will be a 2-in-1 device which can be used as tablet and laptop. So, it seems Samsung to compete with the Microsoft Surface laptop and other premium notebooks.
The renderings of Samsung Galaxy Book S laptop looks very slim and lightweight with thin bezels. The laptop also has a USB-C port and an IR Camera on the top of the display for Windows Hello authentication.
As you can see from the images, the laptop comes with a headphone jack and there is no fingerprint sensor. Some reports reveal the laptop might be powered with Snapdragon 855 processor (8 Core with 2.84GHz) coupled with 8GB of RAM. The laptop runs Windows 10 but still, there is official confirmation about it.
Samsung is hosting an event on August 7, we expect the new laptop may be announced officially. We expect the laptop will launch with stylus support and a detachable keyboard.
