New leak suggests few HP Laptops might feature the Intel Comet Lake-U CPUs, the successors of the Whiskey Lake. Popular leakster @momomo_us posted a screenshot on Twitter which shows the upcoming HP laptops might have Core i5-10210U and Core i7-10510U paired with NVIDIA GeForce MX250 configurations.

The latest list of some HP notebook models comes with Comet Lake-U configurations. The screenshot of HP’s Comet Lake powered notebook also suggest the exact model numbers and other specs. There are three notebooks with different configurations. The Core i5 and Core i7 variants feature the same NVIDIA MX250 GPU and the other Intel Core 15 comes with Intel UHD graphics.

The three configuration options as follows,

  • Intel Core i5-10210U (4C/8T, 1.6 GHz base, 4.2 GHz turbo, 6MB cache), NVIDIA MX250 GPU
  • Intel Core i7-10510U (4C/8T, 1.8 GHz base, 4.9 GHz turbo, 8MB cache), NVIDIA MX250 GPU
  • Intel Core i5-10210U (4C/8T, 1.6 GHz base, 4.2 GHz turbo, 6MB cache), Intel UHD core display

Since Comet Lake-U is the successor of Whiskey Lake, we expect the Intel’s 10nm Ice Lake and 14nm to feature in upcoming laptops within the second half of this year. The CPU named Core i7-10510U should be 14nm and the Core i7-1065G7 will be the 10nm Ice Lake.

In addition, the Geekbench leaks suggest the Core i7-10510U offer better single-core performance when compared Whiskey Lake Core i7-8565U and 40% higher than AMD Ryzen 7 3750H. As per some reports, the Core i7-10710U SKU with 6 cores 12 threads offers a boost up to 5GHz.

However, we don’t have any official information about these HP Notebooks with Comet Lake CPUs. We expect HP will launch these laptops soon. Share your thoughts about the HP Laptops with Comet Lake configurations in the comment section below.
