Huawei officially launched its new 5G router in China named Huawei 5G CPE Pro. The Huawei 5G smart router is priced at 2,499 yuan. In January 2019, Huawei announced about the 5G multi-mode modern that will support all networking coverage from 2G to 5G and its compatible with any smart devices. The Huawei 5G CPE Pro router will be the first router in China that supports 5G full Netcom.
The Huawei 5G CPE Pro router is equipped with Huawei’s self-developed 7nm multimode 5G chip named, Baron 5000 that supports both standalone and non-standalone 5G modes. The company claims, the modem enables up to 2.3Gbps of download speed i.e, you can download an HD movie in just 3 seconds. The modem is developed with dual X full sub-6 GHz antennas which are more sensitive that ensure 360 degrees coverage.
As a router, it features built-in full-band, dual-polarized balun antennas, up to 4.9dBi high gain and signals quality can be improved up to 2.8 times. The Huawei 5G CPE Pro supports 4G/5G networks and wired broadband networking (Fix-Line Network). The modem offers two-way dual bandwidth acceleration by linking both 5G network and broadband connection. It also offers a faster Wi-Fi connection with 4K streaming without any lags.
Talking about the design, the Huawei 5G CPE Pro is very portable and lightweight. Huawei claims the modem can cover a large area of signal that gives good 5G wireless broadband experience. In addition, users can insert a 5G SIM card too.
The Huawei 5G CPE Pro modern is priced at 2,499 Yuan (~$362) and available for sale in China. Huawei also offering 50 yuan discounts on the first-day sale.
