A leaked launch event invite reveals, Huawei will launch its Huawei Mate 20X 5G on July 26 in China. Huawei already confirmed about the launch of the 5G variant smartphone in the month of July. But we this launch event invite, we can confirm that Huawei is planning to announce the Mate 20X 5G smartphone in China soon.
Huawei Mate 20 X 5G launch invite also shows that the device will be announced on coming Friday at 2:30 PM in China (14:30). The smartphone will be available via China Unicom operation all across China. Apart from this, the invite does not reveal any information on pricing or availability of the smartphone. To remind, the device visited countries like the UAE, UK and other Europe countries.
Talking about the specs, the handset is equipped with similar specs of Huawei Mate 20X device. The Huawei Mate 20 X 5G sports a 7.2-inch Full HD+ AMOLED display with a 24-megapixel front-facing the camera.
Under the hood, the device is powered by the Kirin 980 chipset coupled with 8GB of RAM and 256GB internal storage. The Mate 20 X 5G comes with a triple rear-camera setup – 40MP + 20MP + 8MP Leica sensors. It also comes with 4,200mAh battery with 40W fast charging support. It runs on EMUI 9.1 based Android 9 Pie OS out of the box.
However, Huawei Mate 20 X 5G is not the only 5G phone to visit China. We can expect Huawei Mate X foldable phone which already spotted on TENAA and Huawei may have plans to announce both the 5G smartphones in China on July 26. We estimate that the Huawei Mate X will cost about € 2,299.
