Oppo has officially launched its new smartphone variant, Oppo A9 in India. The device will be available for sale on both online and retail stores from July 20. The key thing about this device will be the Helio P70 chipset, waterdrop display, 4020mAh battery and improved Hyper-Boost updates.
The Oppo A9 comes with a price tag of Rs 15,490 in India. The device was first launched in China and comparing the cost, the Indian version seems to cheaper than China variant. The smartphone feature Ultra Night Mode which gives you a good result on low-light photography.
Talking about the specs of Oppo A9, the handset sports a 6.53inch FHD+ display with a resolution of 1080×2340 pixels, almost 90.7% of screen-to-body ratio. It goes Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection and with a waterdrop notch at the top.
Oppo A9 is powered with an Octa-core MediaTek Helio P70 chipset coupled with 4GB of RAM and 128GB internal storage which is expandable up to 256GB via microSD card. The Oppo A9 comes with a 16MP camera at the front with an aperture f/2.0 and its equipped with dual rear camera setup – 16MP f/1.8 sensor and 2MP depth sensor. The devices feature updated Ultra Night Mode 2.0 for low-light shooting.
The device houses a big battery of 4020mAh and runs Oppo’s proprietary ColorOS 6 based on Android 9 Pie. Also, its features a fingerprint scanner at the rear. Connectivity options include. Dual-Sim, 4G LTE, Bluetooth v4.2, Wi-Fi, GPS/A-GPS, Micro-USB along with OTG support and AUX port with active noise cancellation and dedicated mic.
Talking about the price and availability, the Oppo A9 will be available two color variants, Fluorite Purple & Marble Green. As mentioned earlier, the sales start from July 20 with a price tag of Rs. 15,490 in India.
