The most awaited smartphones of this year from Xiaomi are here. These are the Redmi K20 and K20 Pro which were launched months ago in China. Since then, everyone was asking as to when Xiaomi will launch these smartphones in India. Now, the day has finally come when these smartphones are launched. They are also believed to be the flagship killers from Xiaomi replacing the Poco F1 from last year.

As for the Redmi K20, it comes with a Snapdragon 730 processor while the Redmi K20 Pro comes with Snapdragon 855 processor. Redmi K20 comes with a 6.39-inch full HD+ AMOLED display same as the K20 Pro. Also, you get the same bezel-less display on both these devices from Xiaomi. It comes with pop-up selfie camera and in-display fingerprint sensor. The main difference is in the processing power of these devices.

Redmi K20 from Xiaomi comes with 256GB of storage and 8GB RAM in its top-end variant. Same goes for the Redmi K20 Pro from Xiaomi as well. Both these devices run on MIUI 10 based on Android 9.0 Pie. Along with that, the display is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 5 and supports HDR content.

On the camera front, Redmi K20 has a triple camera setup of 48MP+13MP+8MP camera same as K20 Pro. Both the Redmi K20 series devices come with an 18W fast charger out of the box with support for up to 27W fast charging. On the front, you get a 20W selfie camera inside the pop-up selfie camera on these devices.

Basically, you will have to pay more for the Redmi K20 Pro just for the Snapdragon 855 processor as the rest of its specifications are identical. While the Redmi K20 starts in India at Rs. 21,999, Redmi K20 Pro’s price starts in India at Rs. 26,999. These smartphones will be available on Flipkart from July 22, 2019.
