Meizu will officially launch its first 5G Smartphone by first half of 2020

Popular Chinese smartphones maker, Meizu has officially announced about their 5G smartphone that will be launched in the first half of 2020. As reported, Meizu Technology has joined hands with 3 major telecom operators in China – China Mobile, China Telecom and China Unicom. Along with these three telecom partners, Meizu will be working and promoting the 5G ecological developments.

Meizu also released a poster on Weibo about its 5G development timeline. In the poster, the Meizu said that in June 2018, it became a member of the China Mobile 5G Terminal Pioneer Program. In September 2018, it joined China Telecom’s 5G R&D Alliance. Likewise, it established a 5G Joint Innovation lab partners with China Unicom in June 2019.

As per source on July 14th, Huang Zhang – CEO & Founder of Meizu Technology said “Meizu 5G mobile phones will be launched next year. He also added “5G is not anxious. The 5G mobile phone that was just started is stupid and heavy. Even if only 4G is used, it will consume more power. We will I will launch 5G mobile phones next year, but I personally think that the 5G mobile phones in the next year will be basically mature for consumers.”

To remind, for the last few weeks we have been receiving lots of news on 5G products and Smartphones and popular brands are getting 3C certifications for their devices. So we expect, Meizu will be launching the 5G smartphones lineup soon!
