Asus confirms its ROG Phone 2 will launch in China on July 23

We know that the ROG lineup from Asus has become a huge hit in the industry since it was launched last year. Asus ROG is a gaming lineup from the company also known as Republic of Gamers. The first phone in this lineup was the ROG Phone while the next phone will be named as Asus ROG Phone 2. Coincidentally, Asus ROG was also the first gaming smartphone in the industry which made everyone else to follow suit.

Since the ROG Phone was popular, Asus will indeed release the ROG Phone 2 which will please many of the gaming fans out there. Also, we have now received confirmation that the Asus ROG Phone 2 is launching very soon. Apparently, the smartphone will be released this month itself on July 23. This is because Asus has launched a new poster of the launch date along with a partnership with Tencent Games.

Now, it will be interesting to see what the Republic of Gamers x Tencent Games partnership has in store for gamers. We believe that this might be a special edition of PUBG Mobile or it could be something new from the developers. Asus’ ROG Phone 2 is also believed to be a better smartphone than its predecessor as it will have a Super AMOLED screen. Along with that, you will get a 120Hz refresh rate which will be the first time that an AMOLED display will have refresh rate higher than 90Hz.

Along with that, the ROG Phone 2 will have flagship internals such as Snapdragon 855 processor as well as plenty of RAM and storage along with proper cooling and LED lights. It is also reported that the ROG Phone 2 might have an 18W charger but there could also be a 30W charger. We will get all the official details regarding Asus ROG Phone 2 at its launch event on July 23 in China.
